Kelly Drescher Johnson is a dedicated professional with a background
blending theological training, education, and specialized grief care,
which she applies to the board leadership. In 2019, Kelly served as
a Grief Care Counselor at a major animal hospital. From there, she
founded of Veterinary Chaplaincy Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
established in 2017 to provide essential support to individuals
navigating pet loss. Her expertise is grounded in a Master of
Divinity degree in Practical Theology from Boston University and a
Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Carroll University (Waukesha,
WI). Kelly’s commitment to compassionate care and strategic nonprofit
leadership is invaluable to the board. She enjoys reading mystery
novels, knitting, and traveling with her husband.
