Lee EricksonMDiv, BCC Director | BiographyLee Erickson, MDiv., BCC comes to AAVChap with a long history of serving the spiritual and emotional needs of others. He is a Board Certified Chaplain and a qualified CPE Supervisor. His life experience has instilled a tremendous respect for the beliefs and practices of others, which he brings into everything that he does. Growing up on a small farm with lots of animals and siblings, Lee learned at an early age about the power and depth of the human-animal connection. While his career has focussed on people (until finding AAVChap), he is excited about the work this emerging organization is doing, and feels as if he’s coming back home to his roots. His experience encompasses many areas including: hospital and hospice spiritual/emotional support, bereavement, family dynamics, CPE supervision and extensive support group facilitation. Married to an avid equestrian and equine bodyworker, Lee is well-versed in the joy and heartache that animals bring into our lives. He looks forward to bringing his experience, empathy and compassion to this field, and working with such a dedicated, passionate group of people. |
